Trying

It was a Thursday morning, I was under the trees The sky was trying to hide behind a cover of leaves At the end of summer, try not to skin your kneecaps Chasin' a dragonfly that's trying to take its victory laps Before the winter arrives, I'm trying to learn to harmonize With a part of my heart that hardly cries Lord, where did I fail?
