Lyrics
Find another songYou said it was lonely in LA
But you woke up beside me every single day
You said it was only in LA
I picked up a guitar, but it didn't play
Even all the notes had run away
You said I'm the only one you'd take
Is that 'cause all the others had the brains to walk away?
And if it's so lonely in LA
Then why did you act like you had somewhere better to be?
And why did I leave home behind just for you to leave me?
In a hotel room by the bay
I meet all your lovers and I watch them make you fade
You always said to not complain
But you burn my skin like acid rain
I know I can't make you leave, but I can't stay
So please don't be long
There's people here that feel wrong
You won't come near me
No, not with me
Please don't be long
The people drink their tea wrong
You won't come with me
No, not really
