She said, "The rain's coming down
The clouds are here to stay
The power's gone out
So we gotta get away
The dogs are getting restless
Binged all the TV
And if we don't hit the gas
We might never leave
I could name a million other places I'd rather be"

She said, "Let's go
Feel the heat of the road
Let the taillights glow
Yeah, we can run away until we find some space
Under northwest skies

Chase the northern star up to the Northern Lights
And we'll be dancing with the comets
As they're putting on their show
Baby, let's go"

She said, "Time's running out
Got nowhere else to be
So let's take a chance
And see where it leads
Don't wanna look back
Just wanna ride on
I don't wanna wonder where I could've gone"

Mortality is haunting me
The waves are crashing endlessly
These walls will be our end if we don't leave

She said, "Let's go

Feel the heat of the road
Let the taillights glow
Yeah, we can run away until we find some space
Under northwest skies
Chase the northern star up to the Northern Lights
And we'll be dancing with the comets
As they're putting on their show
Baby, let's go
Yeah, let's just go"
Mmm

I don't wanna wonder
What is or what isn't
Whatever it is, I don't wanna miss it
No, I don't wanna wonder
What is or what isn't
Whatever it is, I don't wanna miss it

She said, "Let's go
Feel the heat of the road
Let the taillights glow
Yeah, we can run away until we find some space
Under northwest skies
Chase the northern star up to the Northern Lights
And we'll be dancing with the comets
As they're putting on their show
Baby, let's go"

Mm-hmm, baby, let's go
Yeah, let's just go
